Jane & Tyson
Jane and Tyson had already been married for a full year when we did this photoshoot. During the planning stages, they didn’t think photography would be that important, after all, a friend with a camera was snapping some pictures. But in the end, they felt like something was missing. That’s when I came in.
I met Tyson while working in the kitchen at Torys, a law firm in downtown Toronto. We were both artists, somehow trapped in the corporate world.
Just a few days ago, I was having brunch with Jane, and she told me they were going through a rough patch in their relationship. But when she looked at the images we created together, she was reminded of how deeply she loved Tyson, above anything else that was happening between them. In that moment, all the worries faded, because love, above all, should prevail.
That, my dears, is the power of photography.
