How does the payment schedule work for weddings?

After your first meeting, a 30% non-refundable retainer secures your date. Another 30% is due halfway between your booking date and wedding day. The remaining 40% is due two weeks before the wedding.

How many wedding photos do we receive?

There is no cutoff number. You will receive plenty of meaningful, emotional and funny images — all carefully curated. The focus is on delivering great images only, and if you feel something is missing, just ask.

Do we get to choose our wedding images?

Jaqueline personally selects and carefully curates every shoot, gathering authentic and meaningful images. This curation process is part of her identity and brand. If any critical photo is missing, just ask and she will find it.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! Weddings have been photographed in Mexico and Brazil, with excitement for the next journey.

What if we want our wedding photos to remain completely private?

A Full Privacy Option is available, which must be requested before signing the contract. This prevents images from being used on the website, blog, social media, or portfolio, and carries a fee of 50% of the total package cost. Note: AI use is never permitted and client names are never shared publicly.

How do I book a portrait session?

Fill out the contact form to get started. You'll then receive a link to book an intro call to discuss your vision in detail.

What is the portrait session process?

After the intro call, you'll receive a retainer invoice, a service contract, and a questionnaire. Your answers shape a moodboard draft, which you can adjust. A second call then narrows down the creative direction in a deeply collaborative process.

How many photos do I receive from a portrait session?

For 2-hour sessions, around 15 to 20 carefully curated images.

Are there any discounts available?

Two discounts are available. TKBA members receive 15% off. Trans folks pay what they can.

Can I use event photos for social media and marketing?

Definitely! The only restriction is profiting directly off the images, for example using them on merchandise.

Do you travel?

WHAT IF WE WANT ALL IMAGES TO REMAIN PRIVATE?

I completely understand that privacy can be important for some couples. Real weddings are the primary marketing material for most wedding photographers. Blog posts, portfolio work, and social media are how I share my work and connect with future clients, so removing that visibility represents a real business cost.

If you would prefer your wedding images to remain completely private, I offer a Full Privacy Option that must be requested before signing the contract. This option prevents the images from being used on my website, blog, social media, portfolio, or other promotional materials, and carries a fee of 50% of the total package cost.

If your main concern is to have your wedding images manipulated by AI or if someone searches for you on google the photos will appear, don't worry - I do not work with AI or allow anyone to upload my photographs to an AI database/software, neither use your name when sharing the photos.

After you fill out the form, I’ll send you a link to book your intro call. During that call, you’ll walk me through your vision in more detail.

After the call, I’ll send you three things:

1 - A retainer fee invoice to secure your spot on my calendar.

2 - A service contract for you to review and sign.

3 - A borderline existentialist questionnaire. Your answers will help me put together a draft moodboard, which I’ll send over for you to add to or remove anything you’d like.

Once that’s done, we’ll have another call to narrow down the creative direction of our session. This is a deeply collaborative process – it’s not only up to me to tell your story, you need to be involved too.
