How do we book ConsequencePhoto for our wedding?

How does the payment schedule work for weddings?

After your first meeting, a 30% non-refundable retainer secures your date. Another 30% is due halfway between your booking date and wedding day. The remaining 40% is due two weeks before the wedding.

How many wedding photos do we receive?

There is no cutoff number. You will receive plenty of meaningful, emotional and funny images — all carefully curated. The focus is on delivering great images only, and if you feel something is missing, just ask.

Do we get to choose our wedding images?

Jaqueline personally selects and carefully curates every shoot, gathering authentic and meaningful images. This curation process is part of her identity and brand. If any critical photo is missing, just ask and she will find it.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! Weddings have been photographed in Mexico and Brazil, with excitement for the next journey.

What if we want our wedding photos to remain completely private?

A Full Privacy Option is available, which must be requested before signing the contract. This prevents images from being used on the website, blog, social media, or portfolio, and carries a fee of 50% of the total package cost. Note: AI use is never permitted and client names are never shared publicly.

How do I book a portrait session?

Fill out the contact form to get started. You'll then receive a link to book an intro call to discuss your vision in detail.

What is the portrait session process?

After the intro call, you'll receive a retainer invoice, a service contract, and a questionnaire. Your answers shape a moodboard draft, which you can adjust. A second call then narrows down the creative direction in a deeply collaborative process.

How many photos do I receive from a portrait session?

For 2-hour sessions, around 15 to 20 carefully curated images.

Are there any discounts available?

Two discounts are available. TKBA members receive 15% off. Trans folks pay what they can.

Can I use event photos for social media and marketing?

Definitely! The only restriction is profiting directly off the images, for example using them on merchandise.

Receive 7-10 images within 24hrs after your wedding. It's important to note that most of them will be Black & White. This happens because I like taking the time to create a new look for your images, and this is an artistic step that can't be rushed.

SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER

$190/HOUR + HST

A second photographer is essential to ensure every moment of your day is captured without missing a beat. The rate starts at $190 per hour, with a minimum booking of 4 hours.

ONLINE GALLERY EXTENSION

$200 - 2 YEARS | $300 - 3 YEARS

The online gallery is accessible for 1 year as part of your package. If you'd like to extend access beyond this period, the options are a 2-year extension for $200 or a 3-year extension for $300.

Each pack of Polaroid film consists of 8 chances for us to revisit the analog world. By the end of the day, I'll handle you a package containing all of them!

Let’s break the ice with a quick 30-minute virtual call to go over any questions you might have and see if we’re a good fit. Just click the “BOOK AN INTRO SESSION” step above, which will lead you to my booking page.

STEP 02

RETAINER FEE + CONTRACT

If we leave our intro call feeling positive about us being a good match, I’ll send over the retainer fee invoice - a 30% up front to secure your booking in my calendar.

You will also receive the Service Contract for you to review & sign as well as a questionnaire to get to know a bit more about you two.

STEP 03

COLLABORATION

After you complete the questionnaire I sent to learn more about you and your partner, I'll create a moodboard draft to kickstart the creative direction for your images, and we'll review it together. There's going to be some back and forth, to make sure we are aligned in what feels most like you, after all, the creative direction of your shoot is a collaborative process.

STEP 04

EXPERIENCE

By the time we reach your wedding|shoot day, we'll have a clear idea of what to expect, ensuring that we can have fun while capturing every moment. It's a huge relief knowing that the person photographing you understands your vision, allowing you to fully be present, intentionally in the moment, without any worries.

How does the payment schedule works?

Payments are split into three instalments:

30% retainer - due upon booking your date
30% second instalment - due halfway between your booking date and wedding day
40% final instalment - due two weeks before your wedding day

All payments are due before your wedding day so you can arrive stress-free with nothing left to think about but celebrating! 🎉

I used to not have a cutoff number, but I've been focusing on delivering GREAT images only, instead of leaving for you the work to curate your own wedding gallery.
