A wedding is a celebration of love and creativity. Jacob and Elisson’s color-coordinated same-sex wedding in Toronto perfectly captured this spirit with moody hues and heartfelt moments.
One of the first things Jacob and Elisson wrote on their submission form was the overall aesthetic of their wedding day: dark blue and green tones with sunflowers and baby's breath. Of course, I loved it! Green and blue look so good together, adding a whole new dimension to a ceremony that we're used to seeing through a very bright bridal and pale lens. The creative energy flowed through every aspect of their wedding, from the handmade guestbook where people could leave their well-wishes to a beautifully decorated chair with pictures of both their dads to represent their presence. Both grooms' dads have passed, but that didn't mean they weren't remembered. With guests coming from Brazil and Mexico, the getting ready was nothing short of exciting and fun, as were the ceremony and reception.
