After getting ready in separate places, they shared a private first look at their apartment. This was followed by an intimate moment - just Sofia and Quin, standing together, reading their vows to each other in complete privacy. No audience, no distractions - just two people fully present in the moment. It was everything I love about weddings—raw, real, and full of love!

The brides buddies (as Sofia called them) ate the group shots:
Before heading to the venue, Sofia and Quin took a few moments together in their apartment. It was a chance to pause, breathe, and capture some intimate portraits in the space they share. These quiet moments added a personal touch to their day, grounding them before the celebrations began.

The ceremony took place in the private courtyard of Granite - a charming Toronto brewery. Quin’s brother and sister-in-law officiated, and as the brides walked down the aisle, a bubble machine—enthusiastically operated by the only child in attendance—filled the air with magic.

The reception unfolded as a heartfelt celebration, filled with laughter, toasts, and the cutting of a lemon poppyseed bundt cake—baked by Sofia herself. Her mom had handcrafted the cake stand and the adorable couple figurines perched on top, a reminder of how much love surrounded them.
From start to finish, their wedding was a testament to their love and their courage to live authentically. As an American couple who chose Canada for its safety and inclusivity, Sofia and Quin have built a life together rooted in respect and joy.
